SETTINGS GOALS
Setting goals will help you achieve your highest potential. Studies have shown that specific and ambitious goals lead to a higher level of performance than easy or general goals.
Brainstorm about goals you would like to achieve -- not just in academics, but in ways that will improve your resume for college. Your goals might be related to extracurricular activities, leadership opportunities, financial goals, personal relationships. Think about both short term and long term goals. Make sure your goals are S.M.A.R.T.
For each goal you set, define at least three steps you will take to achieve them. Set a time line for when you want to achieve your goals. And think about how you will reward yourself once you achieve your goals. |
